Mr. Ma Juyong, the president and secretary of the Party Committee of Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant. Co., Ltd.(WMMP) and his delegations visited Gulf Middle East of CMA CGM located in United Arab Emirates on 6th December 2018. Mr. Courquin, the senior vice president of CMA CGM attended the meeting.

Mr. Courquin extended a warm welcome to Mr. Ma Juyong and his delegation, and introduced the development of CMA CGM and Gulf Middle East of CMA CGM. Headquartered in Marseille, France, CMA CGM was founded in 1978; it is a container shipping company ranking first in France and third in the world. Mr. Courquin hopes that the parties can enhance mutual understanding, expand consensus, build mutual trust, and fully develop respective advantages to lay a solid foundation for cooperation through this meeting.

Mr. Ma Juyong expressed gratitude to Mr. Courquin for his warm reception and trust support. Then he introduced the development of WMMP and its subsidiary Qingdao Haixi Heavy-Duty Machinery Co., Ltd.(HHMC) in the Middle East market in recent years, saying that WMMP-HHMC has been committed to cultivating and developing the Middle East market,  as an international competitive port equipment manufacturer, WMMP-HHMC determined to provide clients with quality products and efficient services.

At the meeting, Mr. Courquin expressed appreciation for the achievements of WMMP-HHMC in the field of port crane and offshore platform in the Middle East. The parties conducted in-depth communication on potential cooperation issues in the Gulf region.
