Mr.Deng Zhenshan visited QTERMINALS

On August 27, Deng Zhenshan, secretary of the Communist Party and Chairman of HHMC, led a team visit Qatar's Port of Hamad. QTerminals CEO Mr. Neville Bissett attended the reception.


 

Mr. Deng introduced the achievements that HHMC has made in container equipment in recent years, especially in the field of automated container terminal. During the talks, Mr. Deng presented the detailed progress of the 3 QCs and 12 RTGs of CT2 Phase I, showing that the various work are being carried out smoothly as planned. CT2 Phase I Project is a key project for HHMC to actively take part in the development of “Belt and Road” and vigorously promote international operation, which is of significance for HHMC’s brand awareness in the Middle East market. Driven by innovation, HHMC will spare no effort to complete the delivery with high-quality and high efficiency to promote the overseas trades and local economy in Qatar.

Mr. Bissett warmly welcomed the arrival of Mr. Deng and his team. He expressed his appreciation for the development of HHMC in the past several years and satisfaction with the progress of the project. He showed the confidence in HHMC and promised to fully support HHMC. Mr. Bissett said that New Hamad Port is Qatar's "lifeline". He believes that with the operation of QCs and RTGs in 2020, the loading and unloading capacity will be greatly enhanced, further enhancing the competitiveness of New Hamad Port and providing strong support for the material supply of the 2022 Qatar world cup.

During the talks, Mr. Neville Bissett introduced the overall planning of CT2 project to Mr. Deng Zhenshan in detail. The two parties conducted elaborate discussions on future cooperation, hoping to expand cooperation, deepen the construction of the “Belt and Road” and achieve win-win development.
