On the morning of November 5, the results of the 2019 "Mayor's Cup" Qingdao Industrial Design Awards were announced. HHMC's "Container Terminal 3D Visual Simulation and Verification Platform" project, as the only one shortlisted among the virtual design products, stood out from one hundred and forty-four competing products and ranked top ten, not only winning the golden medal but also winning a wide recognition. Shen Jiarong, honorary president of Qingdao Industrial Design Association and evaluation expert of this competition, acclaimed that” it’s a really novel and interesting design with huge economic potential profit and would become a development direction.”

This competition is hosted by Qingdao Industry and Information Technology Bureau, organized by Qingdao Small and Medium Enterprise Public Service Center, and co-organized by Qingdao Industrial Design Association, aiming to promote the integration and development of industrial design enterprises and industrial manufacturing enterprises, accelerate the speed of outstanding design achievements with independent intellectual property rights and famous brands, in order to improve the industrial design level and core manufacturing competitiveness and cultivate the manufacturing design industry with both international standards and Qing Dao’s characteristics.

With the market demand of intelligent ports, HHMC invests heavily in the research and study of intelligent technology. "Container Terminal 3D Visual Simulation and Verification Platform" project applies human-machine interactive parametric simulation and real-time 3D visualization simulation technology which can help port managers with port layout plan and management effectively. Now, this technology has been applied in Ri Zhao and other ports and has won the approvals from owners. This award is another approval from experts to HHMC’s innovation, and HHMC will continue to forge ahead, keep on innovation and optimization, and, go further and go higher!
