On October 6, five units of ARMGs manufactured by HHMC for Ningbo Daxie Xinye Terminal Co., Ltd. were successfully shipped.

This batch consists of double cantilever ARMGs capable of remote automated operations. The cranes feature a rated lifting capacity of 41 tonnes under the spreader, and integrate multiple automated systems including remote operation control, trolley positioning and precision anti sway functions. Tailored for intelligent operations in container yards at terminals, the equipment boasts advanced technologies, comprehensive functions, reliable performance and easy maintenance. Balancing high operational efficiency with green and low carbon performance, it will greatly improve the automated operation capacity of container yards at Ningbo Daxie Xinye Terminal.

To guarantee on schedule shipment of the project, the project team carried out overall planning, and advanced work including structural fabrication, mechanical and electrical fitting up, as well as commissioning in an orderly manner. All equipment fabrication and factory acceptance tests were completed on time. The team also pre planned the loading scheme, optimized roll on/roll off and sea fastening procedures in consideration of tidal conditions, and efficiently finished all operations such as equipment boarding and securing to ensure a smooth departure of the cargo.

Representing the first batch of ARMGs for Ningbo Daxie Xinye Terminal, the equipment will further boost the terminal’s operational efficiency After the equipment is put into operation. It will accelerate the construction of a smart port at Ningbo Daxie Xinye Terminal and inject strong impetus into the high quality development of regional port logistics.
